The WombAt the beginning of every human's life, there is the womb.   
We don't remember the womb itself, because most memories not acquired through the learning process are ingrained by adrenalin and at that point there is nothing to give us any sort of adrenalin rush. However, as always, the learning process is at work in the womb, and our first experiences give us our first, and most definite idea of what "normal" or "good" is: a feeling of complete security, warmth, and a lack of any sort of worry. The moment at which we form enough brain cells for that brain to be "on" is the happiest moment of our lives.

UncertaintyWe live in a world of uncertainty.   
Every single one of our perceptions is based on an assumption that can never be proven correct; as we lie in bed at night, everyone feels the terrifying loneliness of knowing that the only thing they can prove the existence of is their own consciousness. We could all be nothing but brains in jars, or the figments of some dreamer's imagination, or nothing but hallucinations caused by our own subconscious as our "real" bodies slowly lose their mind. This uncertainty is horrifying in it's magnitude, and the only way we can cope is to build up a sturdy base of assumptions about reality, and pray the Uncertainty

Oh hey, a journal.

Alright, if you've found me on here, it's probably from the dozens of vaguely trollish comments I leave on big0jack's profile on a daily basis. And there is a simple explanation for this: I only got a DA to annoy Jack to no end.

But then, one day, I realized: "Hey, DevArt is a social site, meaning you could probably, like, use it to expand your cult of personality!" and so here I am, making a journal on an art oriented site when the only semi-artistic skillz I got are a pretty-okay capability to write and FUCKING METAL GUITAR SKILLZ.

I'm sure I'll tell you everything about myself later, and maybe even post some poetry or prose or whatever.
